SANISOFT
Sanisoft is a soft, gentle hand soap that contains 1% Chlorhexidine Gluconate. It kills germs while removing dirt and stubborn odours. It contains moisturiser to soothe and soften the skin from repeated use, a neutral pH and suitable for sensitive skin types.
Chlorhexidine Gluconate (CHG) has often been used as oral rinses or skin cleansers and is great at killing bacteria. at low doses it is quite safe to use.
Sometimes used for its topical antibacterial activity, CHG attacks a microbes negatively charged cell surface therefore destroying the integrity of the cell membrane.
Due to its properties some HCW use CHG in conjunction with soap for a complete sanitization of their hands before surgery. In some medical institutes CHG baths are given to high risk patients to minimise chances of infection.
In addition to the great bacterial killing power of CHG, Sanisoft is gentle on the skin, with added glycerin it will keep your hands hydrated while gently washing away dirt and contaminates allowing the CHG to kill off unwanted germs.
